  If you can ignore writing that flat out disregards the source material while closing potential plot holes with one-in-a-million type coincidences, you'll probably have a fun time. I can't help but feel like Disney is spiteful toward the old heroes; Obi's jaded scowl in the first two episodes harkens back to a disappointingly cynical Luke in The Last Jedi. For a show called Obi Wan, it seemed like he was not nearly as relevant to the story as a couple of the other characters.

  Very disappointing series where none of the main plots are very well crafted and make sense. Most of the sequences do not make sense. Clearly a series made for those who can switch their brains off and just watch things happening on screen. Made for the fans that are just impressed by scenes with classic characters with no thought into the story and consistency.

  I really wanted to like it as a Star Wars fan. But it was poorly written, directed and some weak performances across the episodes. Add Disney new insufferable politics to the mix.

  I may have to cancel my Disney + subscription if this is the type of stuff they plan on producing. Acting was good - if you could get through the story. Correction - what story? Have these writers ever seen the original 3 Star Wars movies? I did...when they were released in the theater! Shameful. Don't ruin another character. Please.

  another show full of inconsistent story telling and logic pitfalls. poor writing, poor cinematography. this story is so weak I don't know why they even bothered to try and tell it. this is another example of bad television and how you can screw up even with today's technology and resources. Not hopeful of ever seeing a good Star Wars show/movie again

  Remember cartoons where characters chase each other and bump their heads into tree branches. Cartoon when one slap was enough to make someone pass out. A cartoon where 2 people wear a coat and get completely tricked everyone.

  Disney bashes us over the head with reasons as to why Obi-Wan said certain things to Luke, things that were explained well enough in the original trilogy already. A completely unnecessary series that creates more problems than it solves, with incessantly rubbish shaky cam thrown in for extra annoyance. Please Disney, leave this timeline and all the remaining prequel and original trilogy characters alone. You've crapped on them enough and aren't to be trusted with their care. Move on and create something original in another timeline.
